Single family house - Bellegra (FR), 2006
House with a complex spatial organization, which generates a complex structural model. One could define it as a building with structural equilibrium "dynamic ". The house in Bellegra comes from a tribute to Wright's Fallingwater, especially in virtue of the play of the masses, which, at first concentrated in a few points on the ground, then are expanded into the space at the limit of the structural possibilities of the materials used. As the abovementioned american house, this one in Bellegra is anchored to bedrock through steel bars. The innovation is in the "invisible portal", which retains the protruding suspended masses through a steel tie-rod with a diameter of 40mm. The seismic design was made jointly with the well-known structural engineer Antonio Michetti.
