Penthouse and penthouse / Piazza di Spagna, Rome

 

This lovely penthouse located in the center of Rome, a few steps from the Spanish Steps, is the result of targeted work to get the maximum usable space on a small square footage covered. The need to have a separate living space from the night area has led to the creation of a mezzanine / bedroom, which insists on the stairway. The house consists of two floors, plus a sundeck overlooking the domes of Rome. The architectural language varies depending on the functional spaces: the night area is neutral, just warmed by the texture of the wood; the exteriors are treated with warm materials and cozy, such as wood, terracotta and ecrù fabrics; bathrooms are basic black and white, but with the possibility of changing shades of lights; the living and dining areas are strongly characterized by colorful geometric elements that organize functions and spaces of the furnishings. The property, represented by creative young people in the field of communication and marketing suggested which suggestions create through selected range of colors.
